Who has or has considered utilizing radio in your recruitment efforts? What type of response did you experience?

My organization is excited about the growth potential of recruitment advertising. I am looking for companies who have had success or companies who are wanting to get thier recruitment message on the radio in the Kansas City metro. Please let me know the success you had or if you would be interested in exploring this option. --Jeremy

It occurs to me, that Riverpoint did this, back a few years ago. The message being aimed at "potential employees" but clearly done so as to help leverage the brand in the market to the customer set.

Just playing back my tapes from a few years ago, perhaps if one of the Riverpointers out here would respond...

Jeremy,
Sorry, you might have already gather all the insight you were looking for, I just saw your post.

We have used radio spots for the last year coupled with ohter avenues and had a tremendous response. I can't say that I have had a direct hire from it but a large portion of my candidates say they heard us on one of our spots.

I have not considered it. I figured it was crazy expensive. I am just a little Avon lady with a small small budget.
