- Director of the Next Generation Nonprofit Leaders Program, American Humanics, Inc.
- Tell us about yourself
- I am currently employed with American Humanics as director of the Next Generation Nonprofit Leaders Program, a $5 million scholarship and research program funded by the W.K. Kellogg Foundation. I have developed the program from concept to implementation, and have successfully coordinated the activities of multiple national partners around the program’s strategic goals of helping college students pursue careers in public service and encouraging the development of a diverse nonprofit workforce. Since 2007, more than 500 college students nationwide have been awarded scholarships through this program.
I have also managed my organization’s AmeriCorps program and community engagement programs focused on policy development and intergenerational dialogue.
Prior to American Humanics, I managed three grant programs for the North Dakota Council on the Arts and served as a Research Assistant at the Midwest Center for Nonprofit Leadership at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, among other endeavors.
