Fundraisers ...

When I think of a fundraiser 2 things come across my mind.

First kind is a school or club fundraiser for kids I think of catalogs fill with overpriced items (wrapping paper, knick knacks, candles etc.) that you do not want or do not need and I think of Saver Cards with not the greatest discounts to restaurants I never go to anyway. Avon VERSUS Other MLM companies....

The big difference between the Avon MLM strategy and the other companies is you have to actually have core sells to get your bonus for recruiting. This keeps only the best talent in the Avon community. If you do not cut the mustard and do not provide sales revenue your self you do not deserve a bonus.

This is a turnoff for people who do not like to work for what they want. It is a turn on for those that understand to have a legitimate strong company, consistent sales need to be made by everyone… Continue

Hi Heidi, The non-profit event on Saturday was cancelled due to budget cuts in the non-profit industry. Basically they don't have any money to hire anybody. I checked the npconnect.org website before heading that way. I was interested in making connections with some non-profits to help with their fundraising. My nutrition product has a very simple fundraiser. Thanks for asking, Lou Ann

Heidi thanks much for your response! Now is probably one of the best times to get into business for oneself-many people are tired of being under the corporate thumb, subject to layoffs all the time, and want to control their own destiny. Unlike many companies out there, FBFS offers really great training and support. Thats' great he already has his life/health. do you know if the license is still active? Since we are a multi-line company, we offer everything from auto/home, life, disability, small business,whole/term life, etc. I'd love to visit with him any time he wants to, even if its just an exploratory meeting. Again, thanks for the lead. Any more you can think of, let me know!! ;-)
