- Born and raised in Olathe Kansas. I graduated from Olathe KS in 1970 (when there was only one HighSchool in Olathe)
Attended Collage at Benedictine College in Atchison Kansas where I met my wife who is from Atchison (grduated with a BA in Biology in 1974). Received a Masters degree in Microbiology from KU in 1979. Worked in Biologic research at Midwest Research Institute (MRI) and at Gulf Oil Chemicals company in Kansas. Two of our 4 children were born in Olathe KS. I have 3 sisters and my mother all of whom live in Olathe Kansas.
