I have the greatest job because I get to see the difference we make in people's lives every time I come to work. I am the Director of Programs and Outreach and the grantwriter for the American Stroke Foundation
Tell us about yourself
I am a non-profit enthusiast and love a simple life - which is good when you put the two together! My passions are animals, family and friends, good food, and meeting people. When combined, (with or without the animals) you have the ingredients for a great party and project collaborations. It may be trite, but I really do believe that by working together we can make a significant difference. I enjoy First Fridays, Third Thursdays, We're Talking Tuesdays, and Networking Wednesdays. Actually, I just enjoy life! I have a Neufoundland/Shepherd mix - 125 pound dog, a kitten and a bird. I've raised three kids without pulling my hair out. Advice is expensive, but sympathy and empathy are free.

Hello! Surfing around and saw a note on here that you are with the Stroke Association. My husband had a massive stroke three months ago. He is recovering but has limited use of his left arm and leg. It's been a real challenge! So nice to meet someone local who is involved with this.
