- I have been in the training and development field for more than 20 years. After working for some of the largest companies in Kansas City, I founded Training by Design in 1988 to provide custom course development and technical writing services to local and nationwide clients. I have written more than 40 articles, some of which have been published in the Kansas City Small Business Monthly.
